Sports data campus and the national association of professional football (anfp) of chile consolidate an agreement to enhance data analytics and football sciences. Our professionals will provide valuable support to the recently established sports science department of the institution
We are excited to announce the formalization of a cooperation agreement between Sports Data Campus and the distinguished National Association of Professional Football (ANFP) of Chile, recognized by the Football Federation of Chile since 1933. Through this strategic alliance with the historic South American institution, which brings together 45 clubs and plays a crucial role as a regulator of professional tournaments and as a meeting point for various entities in Chilean football, we aim to significantly enhance the adoption and application of advanced technologies and data analysis across the organization.
Sports data campus and the anfp sign a strategic cooperation agreement
The responsibility for the project will lie with the experts trained at Sports Data Campus, who will play a key role as a solid contribution to the recently established Sports Science Department of the Association, which is part of the National Teams Management. Additionally, the professionals trained at our institution will have the opportunity to carry out internships, either in-person or remotely, with any of the teams or categories, as well as in the various management areas of the ANFP. Furthermore, the South American football entity will have the right to propose and present master’s thesis projects, either individually related to any team or within the framework of global initiatives of the Association itself.

Furthermore, the specialists from the ANFP will have the opportunity to share their expertise and knowledge through various masterclasses. This educational opportunity will allow our students to gain a deep understanding of the processes and achievements of the South American entity. This dynamic not only strengthens and extends our current collaboration but also leads us to explore new areas of strategic cooperation that could further enrich our relationship in the future.

As stated by David Sáez, CEO of Sports Data Campus: “It is truly an honor for us to start this close collaboration with the National Association of Professional Football of Chile, one of the leading sports entities in South America. Additionally, traditionally, we have multiple Chilean students in our master’s programs who work and develop their activities for clubs in the country; so, this agreement takes on even more importance. We hope that this will be one of the first steps to contribute and provide our support to the development of the analytical ecosystem in national football.”
