Omonoia 29M: Four promotions, three titles, and a unique model in European football
The club was founded in 2018 by supporters of AC Omonoia Nicosia and the biggest supporters’ group ‘Gate 9’, when the club’s football department was sold to a single owner, a development that contradicted the club’s history and core values. The club is run by its members with frequent assemblies and is funded by its own fans. In just 7 years of existence we have already won 3 league titles in lower divisions, 4 promotions and 1 participation in the country’s top division. The team’s philosophy is based on a family/team spirit, a never-give-up attitude and a fighting spirit.
