Sports Data Campus, in collaboration with Sevilla FC, announces the launch of the Master’s Degree in Sports Management and Innovation, an internationally recognized program designed to train the professionals who will lead technological transformation in the sports industry. Its first edition will begin on March 17, 2026. At a time when innovation and technology are crucial for optimizing the management of sports organizations, enhancing performance, and strengthening fan engagement, this master’s program provides comprehensive training based on advanced data analytics, artificial intelligence, automation, and immersive technologies such as augmented and virtual reality. The goal is to equip students with the skills needed to tackle the challenges of an increasingly competitive, digitalized, and global sector.
Who this programme is for Master’s Degree in Sports Management and Innovation
This program is aimed at sports professionals, managers, analysts, coaches, entrepreneurs, technology specialists, and anyone seeking to lead digital transformation processes or specialize in the application of new technologies within sports organizations. The curriculum includes: Context, Structure and Legal Framework; Enabling Technologies in the Sports Industry; Structuring the Transformation: Methodologies; Data-Driven Strategy; Analyzing and Understanding Data; Transforming the Organization; Transforming the Fan Relationship; Transforming the Ecosystem; Transforming Sports Performance; and a Final Master’s Project, allowing students to apply their learning to a real-world project.
The academic direction is led by David R. Sáez, CEO of Sports Data Campus; José María Cruz, Head of R&D&I Football at Sevilla FC and Juan Esteban Gómez Llamas, Head of Digitalization and Continuous Improvement in the R&D+i football area of Sevilla FC.
