The three organisations strengthen their collaboration in support of training for Sports Data Campus master’s students, certified by UCAM, and for the coaches at the VCF Academy.
Sports Data Campus and Valencia CF have opened new lines of collaboration, through UCAM-certified programmes, to strengthen the training of their students and the coaches at the VCF Academy in areas as decisive in football as physical preparation and Big Data.
Sports Data Campus joins the agreement between Valencia CF and UCAM
Under this agreement, a group of Sports Data Campus students will be able to visit the Ciutat Esportiva de Paterna for a guided tour, attend a first-team training session, and take part in a practical-theoretical class with club professionals. In addition, one student from each cohort will be able to complete a placement during their master’s programme.

Another key part of the agreement is that Valencia CF will have the opportunity for one of its coaches to take part in Sports Data Campus’s Master’s Degree in Sports Science and Data Intelligence in High-Performance in each edition.
“Big Data allows us to understand the player’s situation when they arrive at the club, to define the starting point and then track their progress and assess everything achieved,” explains Ángel García, Head of the High Performance Area at the VCF Academy.
“In the process of preparing a player, our professionals are important, and so are agreements with universities such as UCAM, where club professionals update their knowledge while students can see how our VCF Academy works and gain first-hand experience,” he concludes.
David Sáez, CEO of Sports Data Campus, also underlined the importance of this agreement for students: “For us, it is always a source of pride that our students can complement their training alongside the very best and enjoy immersive experiences at elite clubs. That is why we thank Valencia CF for opening its doors to us and making this cooperation agreement possible—one from which some of our students will benefit directly, and most indirectly, through the joint actions we will carry out together from now on.”

Agreements with clubs
The addition of elite clubs such as Valencia CF to its pool of collaborating organisations confirms Sports Data Campus’s commitment to offering top-quality training—giving students the chance to learn first-hand, in an immersive way, from highly recognised professionals at some of the most important clubs.
