East Bengal Football Club is one of the most important and traditional clubs in India. It has millions of fans around the world and has always been known for its fighting spirit. It currently competes in the Indian Super League, the top tier of football in the Republic of India, and stands out internationally, having won three Asian international titles and holding the highest number of AFC Cup appearances by an Indian club.

This collaboration with an international first-division club from India will lead to the implementation of internship programmes, either on-site or remote, for students from the different Sports Data Campus master’s programmes. Thanks to data analysis, Emami East Bengal F.C. will be able to obtain valuable information to support player development, assess possible signings, evaluate player performance, study possible opponent strategies, and work on injury prevention. In addition, club professionals may deliver masterclasses, sharing their experience and knowledge with students on the programmes.
