Veo and Sports Data Campus Join Forces to Promote Video Analysis in Football and Sport
About Veo
Veo is an automated sports recording camera offering high-resolution video. It aims to democratise access to technology by providing video and analytics solutions to both elite teams and grassroots football clubs. Coaches, players, teams, academies and parents can access easy-to-use tools and valuable data generated by Veo’s AI to support performance improvement.
At the time of the May 2023 announcement, Veo was present in more than 80 countries, serving organisations ranging from Champions League clubs to semi-professional senior teams. The company seeks to make a positive impact on society by helping coaches and players improve every day and supporting football at all levels. Its platform is also used in sports including lacrosse, volleyball, American football, basketball and rugby.
As part of the collaboration agreement, Veo will deliver one or more masterclasses for students on Sports Data Campus master’s programmes. These sessions will introduce the products and services that, according to the announcement, were used by more than 500,000 coaches and players, with over one million matches recorded worldwide. Examples and success stories will demonstrate their ease of use and value for sports analysis.
