Torusware Partnership | Sports Data Campus

To advance data analytics in football, Torusware, a company specialising in big data solutions with more than a decade of experience, and Sports Data Campus have established a partnership focused on innovation and knowledge. This collaboration represents a strategic step for both organisations: while Torusware aims to establish itself as a leading provider of integrated technology solutions in sport, Sports Data Campus contributes its educational expertise and community of professionals specialising in data science applied to sport. Their shared objective is clear: to professionalise the use of data in football and develop innovative solutions that combine advanced technology with practical knowledge and high-level education.

About Torusware

Based in A Coruña, Torusware is a technology start-up with more than ten years of experience developing enterprise platforms for data analysis. Its flagship solution, Torus Data Lake, is a cloud platform based on Azure Databricks and Power BI, designed to process, transform and analyse large volumes of information securely and at scale. It makes insights accessible to both technical teams and business users, supporting informed decision-making in complex and demanding environments.

Torusware provides both the infrastructure required to implement big data use cases and tailored professional services. Its team works closely with each client’s engineering departments, developing ETL processes, creating advanced reports and delivering specialist training based on industry best practices.

At the time of the announcement, Torus Data Lake was already in use at several LaLiga clubs. Through its collaboration with Sports Data Campus, Torusware aims to bring greater value to its clients by involving professionals specifically trained in sports data analysis to meet the sector’s growing needs. The company has also developed integrations with leading sports technology tools such as Catapult, VALD Performance and BeSoccer, and continues to expand its ecosystem with connections that enhance analysis and decision-making.
